በአሁኑ ወቅት የኢትዮጵያን ገቢ ዕቃዎች ማስተናገድ ከጂቡቲ ወደብ አቅም በላይ በመሆኑ፣ መንግሥት አጣዳፊ ዕቃዎች በሱዳንና በበርበራ ወደቦች እንዲገቡ ውሳኔ አሳለፈ፡፡በዚህ ውሳኔ መሠረት 100 ሺሕ ሜትሪክ ቶን ማዳበሪያ የጫኑ መርከቦች ወደ ሱዳን ወደብ ተንቀሳቅሰዋል፡፡ በዓለም የምግብ ፕሮግራም አማካይነት የመጣ 25 ሺሕ ሜትሪክ ቶን የዕርዳታ እህል ደግሞ በበርበራ ወደብ እንዲገባ እየተደረገ መሆኑ ተገልጿል፡፡የፌዴራል ትራንስፖርት ባለሥልጣን ዋና ሥራ አስኪያጅ አቶ ካሳሁን ኃይለ ማርያም ለሪፖርተር እንደገለጹት፣ በአሁኑ ወቅት የአገሪቱ ገቢ ዕቃዎች በተመሳሳይ ወቅት ጂቡቲ ወደብ በመድረሳቸው የጂቡቲ ወደብ ተጨናንቋል፡፡‹‹የጂቡቲ ወደብ መጨናነቅ ብቻ ሳይሆን፣

Garissa University Marks Anniversary of Terror Attack

Students at Kenya's Garissa University on Saturday marked the one-year anniversary since a terror attack on the eastern Kenyan school in which 148 people were killed. Calais, France - Away from the forced conscriptions, enforced disappearances, torture and religious repression of their homeland, hundreds of Eritreans, mostly men, remain stuck in Calais' ever-shrinking "Jungle" refugee camp. French authorities have bulldozed their settlements in the camp's southern zone. Those who have made it across the English Channel face continual roadblocks from the UK Home Office in their requests for asylum.

EgyptAir Flight 181 plane hijacked by Egyptian Seif El Din Mustafa, lands in Cyprus but motive unclear

LARNACA, Cyprus - An Egyptian wearing a fake explosives belt who hijacked a domestic EgyptAir flight and forced it to land in Cyprus on Tuesday surrendered and was taken into custody after releasing all passengers and crew unharmed following an hours-long standoff. Officials said early on that the hijacking was not an act of terrorism, and later that the man appeared to be psychologically unstable. However, the incident was likely to renew concerns about Egyptian airport security months after a Russian passenger plane was downed over the Sinai Peninsula in a bombing claimed by the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS.)
